The passion and commitment of its members is what makes the Young Professionals Group (YPG) the dynamic organization it is today. Once the vision of just a few, the YPG has been embraced by men and women throughout Los Angeles. You tell two friends, they tell two friends…and so on!!! YPG membership includes over 50 men and women.

YPG members live in such areas as Los Angeles, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Santa Monica, San Fernando Valley, Brentwood and Orange County. Members work in a diversity of career fields including entertainment, law, real estate, business, healthcare, education, finance and the non-profit sector.

The YPG seeks male and female members who are between the ages of 21-40 years old.

Benefits of YPG membership include: • Discounted and/or free tickets to several YPG social events • Various members-only volunteer opportunities at Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women • Select members-only events including Dodger Day, Members Dinner and more • Annual Members Dinner (no charge to members) valued at a minimum of $25 per member • Social and professional networking • Opportunities to learn about non-profit organizations and board governance

The YPG encourages all members to:
• Participate in a Meet & Greet Orientation and Volunteer Orientation
• Participate in YPG volunteer activities
• Serve on a YPG committee and help plan a social or fundraising event
• Support the annual benefit by buying or selling two tickets
• Be informed about Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and act as an ambassador of the YPG in the larger community

Types of YPG Membership-Effective July 1, 2008

Pay dues by July 1, 2008 and join for only $35 (Active) and $50 (Supporting).

•	Complete a YPG Membership Application
•	Select Active, Supporting or Lifetime membership and include payment for your annual membership dues. Checks may be made payable to Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women. Please do not include cash when sending payment. All dues are renewable on July 1.
•	Annual dues for Active and Supporting members are renewable on July 1st of each year. If you join YPG between January and June you may choose to pay a reduced amount of $17 (Active) and $25 (Supporting). The full dues amount for the following year will be due July 1st.
